hayden (b. 1990) is a visual artist that investigates collisions of meaning making memory creation economic + political systems and technology in the context of a changing sociopolitical landscape with specific focus on the intersection of the current state of surveillance and our cultural impulse to publicly self-curate individual identities as well as specific moments in time //

more recently they are struck by non-physical barriers as they are actualized in cultural production // they are curious about emotions and how the current zeitgeist shapes who is allowed to interpret and interact with them // they seek complex spaces that allow observation of sensation without disassociation // they explore feelings of isolation // they believe compassion is our last hope //

// please stop killing their friends //
